ABOUT

White Stag Kids is your child's home away from home.

It's a place to learn, a place to grow, and a place where your child can feel safe and loved when you're away.

Here at White Stag Kids we strive to provide the best of the best. We believe in empowering children by giving them opportunities to make their own decisions and solve their own problems. It is our goal that children gain confidence in their abilities and create lasting relationships with teachers and friends.
We use the Mother Goose Time toddler curriculum along with the Mother Goose Time Experience God program to help enrich and teach your child, preparing them as much as possible for pre-school and kindergarten. By offering an engaging curriculum, it is our goal that each child will develop a positive association with school and gain a life-long love for learning. We believe children learn best through meaningful play which encourages curiosity, discovery and problem solving allowing personal growth and positive self-image.
We view discipline as an important aspect of teaching and learning while still accepting children as they are. It's a growth process, with each age and stage having its own characteristics, challenges, and needs. Being an in-home child care, we believe we're more equipped to set realistic and individualized expectations for children’s behavior, model appropriate behavior and values, and use natural and logical consequences to motivate and encourage children to make good decisions about their own behavior.
Establishing healthy eating habits is critical for kids (and adults too!). It helps keep them focused, helps sleep habits, and keeps them learning in the classroom. We serve two organic and seasonal whole food meals and snacks a day, that kids will actually eat (we hope!). But beyond that, we strive to teach your child about healthy eating by talking about and seeing where our food comes from, showing kids what a healthy plate looks like, and getting kids actively helping in the kitchen with preparing food.
Our location gives us great opportunities for field trips, park time, pizza parties and even swimming. There's always something exciting happening at WSK. If you want to keep up with us during our day and while we are out doing activities, follow us on our private Facebook page and Instagram.

About Miss Rachel

Hello Parents!
My name is Rachel Williams and I'm the teacher and owner of White Stag Kids. I am married to my husband Mike and we have a yellow lab pup named Kevin. I started my career in childcare when I was 20, but I knew it was my passion long before then when I got an early start by babysitting for siblings. Fast forward to 2019 and I'm opening my second in-home child care. I enjoy reading and going to the movies. I love to spoil my dog in my spare time as well as hike and swim.
